Blue and Gold is one week away!  For those of you new to the cake contest, below are the rules for the cakes.  This year's cake theme is Pixels.

1. The entire cake, all decorations and parts, must be edible

2. Place your cake on stiff cardboard or a cookie sheet.  Please limit the size of your cake to about 15x12 so that we have space to display all cakes
3. Cake Registration is from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm
4. Only Cub Scouts and their siblings may vote
Trophies will be awarded by den and one for Best Overall Cake. Siblings cakes are welcome, and “sibling trophy” will be voted/awarded
5. All cakes will be eaten for dessert, unless otherwise specified at registration
Some cakes will be donated to local fire and police stations.  Please let us know at registration if you would like to donate your cake.

If you wish to bring home any of your cake, please bring a container in which to transport it.  Please bring a cake server and plan to  help serve your cake.  The internet is a great source for ideas, especially for cakes that children can do themselves.
